Aquarium Service & Maintenance
We can come as often as needed to fit your needs, whether that’s once a week, once every other week, once a month, occasional ‘checkups,’ or any other frequency that best suits your particular need. An aquarium servicing includes:
- Monitoring health of livestock.
- Ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly.
- Water testing to establish proper water-quality parameters.
- Algae scrubbing, piping and tubing cleaned, etc.
- Rinsing and/or replacing of filter pads and media (as needed.
- Performing a partial water change (5% - 45% as needed).
- Dosing of chemicals, additives, food, etc (as needed)
- Cleanup and thorough “double-check.”
Rates are a base minimum of $65 up to one hour, then $40 per hour afterward.
Example: Total time: 1hr (or less) = $65
Total time: 1.5hrs ($65 + $20) = $85
Total time: 2hrs ($65 + $40) = $105
Aquarium Setup and Installations
Lotsa Fishies has been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to
help a number of our clients set up a wide array of tanks ranging from five
gallon goldfish tanks to several hundred gallon reef setups, and everything
n between. No matter what size tank you’re interested in setting up, no matter
your budget, no matter the complexity level you’re looking for, we can make it
happen. We are knowledgeable and proficient in a wide variety of different
types of setups, whether a standard stand-alone system, or custom in-wall setups.

and supplies enables us to tailor a system to exactly suit your particular needs.
We can have your dream setup installed professionally, quickly, and for the best

Consultations
We have extensive knowledge and experience and can offer advice,
recommendations, and assistance in a variety of circumstances and situations.
We can be of assistance if you’re considering upgrading to a bigger tank,
downgrading to a smaller one, switching from freshwater to saltwater, etc.
Or, if you would simply like a sit-down with an expert for some pointers
and help with your current tank, we can certainly help with that as well.
Aquarium Moving or Relocations
Lotsa Fishies can help you professionally move your tank whether it’s from
room-to-room, or house-to-house. We take great care to ensure that no
livestock is injured or lost, that no equipment is damaged, and that the
tank looks better after the move than it did before. Depending on the
circumstances, the livestock is carefully removed and either individually
bagged or placed in temporary holding bins for the duration of the move.
We give the equipment a thorough cleaning before being packed for the
move, or reinstalled as the case may be. Great care is taken to ensure
that neither the system as a whole, nor your residence or business is in
any way damaged or harmed. If you need your tank moved, we can help.
Aquarium Breakdowns
Sadly, sometimes people must move, hobbies change, or economic
circumstances necessitate breaking down of one’s tank. If you’re looking
for help selling your tank, we can assist you in quickly finding a buyer,
as well as helping you get the most money for your system. If needed,
we can also assist the buyer in relocating or setting up the tank in it’s
new home.
